Training School: ‘Law of the Sea and Development’

This training will take place on 1 – 3 July 2015 at the University of A Coruña (Spain) and is organized within the framework of MARSAFENET (which is the acronym for NETwork of experts on the legal aspects of MARitime SAFEty and security) Cost Action IS1105. It aims at bringing together early stage researchers, senior researchers, and experts from public institutions and from the private sector, as well as other stakeholders dealing with the law of the sea and development.

The main objective of the training school is to analyze and review new and emerging areas of the law of the sea and development and to provide trainees with theoretical knowledge and practical instruments. 

Each training session will consist of lectures in the morning and an analysis of specific case studies in the afternoon.
