"The European Union and its Challenges in the 21st Century”

The Europa-Institut in cooperation with the ASKO EUROPA Stiftung and the Europäische Akademie Otzenhausen presents the European Summer Course "The European Union and its Challenges in the 21st Century". The European Summer Course takes place from 10–20 July 2013 at Otzenhausen, Germany.

Would you like to know more about European integration and the challenges of the EU in the 21st century? And do you want to experience the atmosphere of an international seminar with young people from different countries?

The European Summer Course “The European Union and its Challenges in the 21st Century” combines central aspects of European integration with special policy fields in a Studium Generale, which includes the basics of European policy as well as the current developments in the economic-business or legal sector and in the foreign policy. The programme should support the intensive communication by offering lectures, workshops and field trips to the main EU institutions.

The participants of the 2013 European Summer Course from all over the world

  • learn the fundamental aspects of European integration,
