Conference: ‘The future of the EU Social Market Economy’

The Department of Law of Maynooth University  is pleased to announce the conference ‘The future of the EU Social Market Economy', which will take place on Friday March, 24th 2017, between 9.30am-5pm (registration from 8.30am).

The venue is Renehan Hall, South Campus, Maynooth University.

This is a flagship event  to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, and focuses on different strands of EU market regulation (public procurement, SSGI, State aid, IP law…) and their potential to achieve social goals.

Speakers include: Prof. Bruno De Witte (EUI – Maastricht University), Prof. Michael Doherty (Maynooth University), Prof.  Christopher Bovis (University of Hull), Dr. J. Jorge Piernas Lopez (University of Murcia), Dr. Caterina Sganga (Central European University Budapest).
